The Hearts Behind the Mission

Edith Palmer

'A Vision Rooted in Compassion" Edith, the visionary behind the ministry, believes that serving means intentionally reaching beyond one’s comfort zone to meet the needs of others. Her passion for helping and caring for people began at a young age and has grown into a lifelong commitment to service. Through Feed My Sheep Outreach Ministry, she continues to live out that calling—leading with compassion, guiding the mission with purpose, and ensuring that those in need are seen, supported, and uplifted. Her vision is not only to meet immediate needs, but to create lasting impact within the community.

Danielle Wilson

'Leading Change Through Service' Danielle serves because she believes in giving back and in her ability to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She is deeply committed to the idea that service is not only about meeting immediate needs, but also about creating lasting impact. As a servant leader, she views service as a responsibility to advocate for the most vulnerable, while also educating and empowering others to rise, take initiative, and become agents of change within their own communities. Through her service, she seeks to inspire transformation, promote dignity, and help build a stronger, more compassionate society.

Vivene Quarry

'Serving with a Willing Heart' Serving means a great deal to Vivene. For her, it is about using her time and effort to help those who are in need. She finds fulfillment in knowing that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Joel Whyte

'Serving with Willingness' Joel serves simply because he can. He recognizes that he has the ability to help and believes in using that ability to make a difference. To him, serving means showing up and offering whatever he can with a willing heart. He understands that even the smallest act of service can have a meaningful impact, and he is committed to being present and available to support others whenever the opportunity arises.

Shereece Campbell

'Serving with Compassion and Care' Shereece serves because she has a genuine passion to help in whatever way she can. She believes that serving is not just about providing assistance, but also about caring for one another and supporting each other as a community. Through her service, she hopes to make a positive difference in the lives of those around her.

Ann-Marie Spencer-Thomas

'Serving with Joy' For Ann, serving is both a joy and a privilege. She finds great fulfillment in helping others and takes pride in serving her community. To her, service is more than a task—it is a meaningful opportunity to give back and bring encouragement to others.

Brendalin Bryce

'Serving with Joy and Obedience' For Bren, serving brings a deep sense of joy. She finds fulfillment in simply seeing the smiles on the faces of those she serves. To her, serving means giving selflessly without expecting anything in return, while living out God’s command to care for others through obedience to His word.

Patrica Williams

'Serving from a Heart of Compassion' Pat serves in the Feed My Sheep Outreach Ministry out of a deep love and compassion for people. She believes that true service is about sharing what we have, caring for others, helping those in need, and giving back to the community. For her, serving is an expression of love in action.

Keisha Grant

'Serving with Love, Growing Through Purpose' Keisha serves because of her love for helping others, especially those who are unable to help themselves. Through the outreach, she has found more than a place to serve—she has found a family that continues to teach her love, compassion, and patience. Being part of this ministry has helped her grow as an individual, shaping her character and deepening her desire to care for others. For her, serving is both a joy and a meaningful opportunity to make a difference.

Dierdron Douglas

'Serving the Community with Heart" John, as he likes to be called, serves because he believes in the good work being done for the community and values the opportunity to contribute wherever he can. He sees service as doing the very best he can to support those in need, offering his time and effort to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Jessica Francis

'Called to Serve' Francis serves because she loves seeing smiles on the faces of others. She believes that serving others is part of God’s calling on her life, and she faithfully follows His will by helping those who need support and encouragement.

What the community says

I have nothing but good things to say about this initiative. I truly don’t want it to stop—it is such a blessing to the community. It fills a lot of gaps for me and many others. There are times I wish I could get more, but I understand there are many people to serve. "and a nuff moute fi feed". What matters most is that help is always given with care and fairness. I believe God is behind this work. It’s genuine—it’s not done for recognition, and that’s what makes it so special.

“Is this really the kind of food the outreach gives away for free? This is A-class. I’ve never seen food of this quality being given out like this. The portions are generous, the presentation is excellent, and everything tastes amazing. It’s hard to believe this is free—it’s truly a blessing.”

“What stands out to me most is the heart behind this mission. It is deeply inspiring to see how a simple vision pitched by a daughter to her mother has grown into an active outreach aligned with the Church of God 7th Day Davis. Church of God (Seventh Day), Davis. I was also struck by the diversity of the team—The team diversity in ambassadors reflects a rich mix of ages, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds, all united in the work of Christ.
